So after they died the core was free to keep the world and the abyss safe again. The abyss, powered by the core, is what sustains the world of Pandora Hearts and when the 2 Alices were born it changed totally because the core of the abyss used all her power to keep alive and raise the sisters, making the abyss and the real world be in danger. One last point to add more information to what happen to the world after Alyss death its simply that the abyss returned to its original shape. Oz, Alice and Alyss souls enter the circle of 100 years. And if you wonder what happen to Alice here is that before Oz came The Will of the Abyss devoured her and make Alyss and Alice being fused too with the core so when Oz destroyed Alyss, he destroyed Alice too.Īnd well, what happen to him after that: I already said it in the last point, he died by killing his contractor. But as a contract between a chain and a contractor connect their lives, by destroying Alyss, he destroy himself with her. As a free chain he form a contract with Alyss (who is The Will of the Abyss, because this sister is fused with the core of the abyss) and use his power as the B Rabbit to destroy his contractor, destroy Alyss, destroy the body of The Will of the Abyss, destroying that fusion between them and setting Alyss finally free from the core (Alyss wish). Then he dissapear because that body dont belong to him, belongs to Jack and Oz is his chain so once the contract ends the chain and the contractor are free (as we saw with Kevin when he met The Will of the Abyss and his ex chain arrived moment later than him to the core) and after a time Oz appear in his true form, the B Rabbit chain. Oz uses his contract (who has taken a turn and is ready to take the contractor to the abyss) to open a portal to the core of the abyss and take everyone with him. After Oswald Glen failed his mision and dissaped Leo recovers his body and is Leo Glen. Oz's plan: I admit this is something Jun keep in secret until the last chapters to make it more dramatic but in the last chapters is explained very well. I remember reading some translationg in which they call the sisters with diferent names to make it less confusing. So if this part is hard to you, search some old fandub, they usually take the japanese text in which they do diference between this sisters calling Arisu (Alice) and Abisu (Alyss). The Alices: the fandom always diference them as Alice (brown haired Alice) and Alyss (white haired Alice). I want to add here that even if they travel through the abyss when they arrive to the exact moment Oswald Glen were looking for they crossed the line of the abyss vortex and they were to the real world (but in the past)
They met young Lacie before she were in the Baskerville and Oswald Glen intention was to kill her, making all the last +100 years were rewriten so the world's chains arent destroy anymore. Past and stuff: the group were traveling through the abyss to a moment in the past that Oswald Glen (in Leo's body) had choosen.
I will write a lot of information since is not something expecific and the answer need context. I am confused with the question (so many points) and I think all was more than less explained in the manga but I will try to answer too.
